The Christian life isn’t easy and some would say it shouldn’t be. So, how do your students look at their Christian life? Do they look at it as a chore? Do they look at it as a challenge? Do they see it as a journey and not a destination? We want to help your students live a life without boundaries. A life in which they are bold not just for the sake of being seen, but bold because they serve a God that is bold. A God that that sees what they can become. How do they do that? They do that by Being on Guard, Standing Firm in the Faith. Being Courageous and Being Bold. Being Audacious.

August 6-10, 2012 is our highly anticipated summer conference, SLC 2012: Audacious! Cost is $385 and there is a $60 deposit due 1/1/12 (counts toward the $385). Please fill out all 3 forms and return to Pastor Drew by July 15, 2012. All forms can be downloaded above.

March 16-18, 2012 at Bear Creek Lake in Jim Thorpe, PA. Every year, we focus on a Spiritual Discipline for the weekend. The past two years, we’ve looked at worship and prayer. This year’s theme is Bible study. During the retreat, students will experience group sessions including worship and speakers, small group debriefing times, individual devotional times, fellowship, and lots of fun. This year, each student has a Saturday afternoon option of Horseback Riding at Deer Path Stables or Paintball at Pocono Mountain Paintball. The cost of the event is $100 per student, plus a little money for dinner at a restaurant in Jim Thorpe on Saturday night. All students must turn in a completed permission form by Feb 28th. Breakpoint Moms’ Group

This is a time of worship followed by Bible study and discussion. There are programs for kids of all ages.

New Teen Ministries

After some consideration, the elders of the church, the youth leaders, and Drew have decided that now is the time to begin separate High School and Middle School ministries. There are many benefits to this approach, including Bible studies geared towards each specific age group, two separate worship bands so that more teens will step up and take some leadership in this area, and more time for Drew to personally invest in each of our teens. God and Country Celebration

Food Pantry Donations

Bins located in the lobby are for donations of non-perishable food and health/beauty items. Items are collected and given to the food pantry at the Trinity UMC in Hackettstown. They will be distributed to those in need in our community. Please see Lora Diel for more information.
