Tim was born and raised in the Garden State. He graduated from Mt. Olive High School in 1994 and later earned a degree from County College of Morris. He is currently working as a Senior Property Manager for American Real Estate Partners.
Tim has been married to his wife Colleen since 2002 and they have two amazing girls: Kiara and Olivia.
Tim and Colleen have been attending Breakpoint for over ten years, and Tim has been on the Elder board since 2011.
Tim and Colleen are a true blessing to the children and families of Breakpoint as they have been leading the Breakpoint kids' programs for children in K-5th grade for several years.
Brian was born and raised in West Orange, NJ. He graduated from West Orange High School in 1994, then continued on to earn his degree in Technology Education from Kean University. He has been a teacher at Livingston High School for the past 12 years teaching woodworking, auto mechanics, stagecraft, and other technology classes. On the side, he works for Garden State Fireworks as a pyro-technician and also volunteers with the Mountain Lakes Fire Company in Liberty. He currently lives on a small farm, complete with cows, sheep, pigs, goats, chickens, peacocks and a dog.
Brian has been married to his wife, Kirsten, for 11 years, and they have 3 wonderful children: Hunter, Kenzie and Taylor. They have been active members of Breakpoint Church for the past 5 years. Brian joined the Elder Board in 2014.
Mario was born in Messina, Italy and came to the United States when he was 13 years old. He attended school here and spent two years of high school in St. Francis of Assisi Seminary in Massachusetts. When Mario realized the priesthood was not for him, he returned home and finished high school and later took courses at Pace College. He worked for International Paper Company until 1988 and then for Bear Stearns for nearly 25 years. While working at Bear Stearns, Mario took classes to become certified as a chaplain and is currently the chaplain for the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice in Newton.
Mario met his wife, Linda in a small church in Queens, New York. They have been married for over 40 years and have three lovely daughters: Maria; Lisa, who is married to Adam; and Juliana, who is married to Buddy. Mario and Linda also have three beautiful grandchildren: John, Jayden and Bailey.
Linda and Mario have been members of Breakpoint since it originated in 2002.
Mario has served on the Board of Elders for several years while Linda leads the women’s Bible Study.
John Spooner is one of the founding members of Breakpoint Community Church. In addition to his years of service as an Elder at Breakpoint, John has also led classes on Evangelism and Financial Planning. John was born in Western Massachusetts and was raised on many dairy farms throughout New England and New Jersey before finally settling in North Branch, NJ. He went on to graduate from Rutgers University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. After working for Johnson & Johnson for 7 years, John entered the world of finance and earned his CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) designation in 1984. He has his own full service financial planning firm in Stanhope.
John and his wife Peggy have lived in Stanhope since 1977. They have two grown children, Drew and Suzanne, an amazing daughter in law, Kym, and two lovely granddaughters.
