Kellie loves children and also loves having fun which makes her a great fit for working with Breakpoint’s preschoolers! She feels the best way to teach little ones is to find the right balance: being silly enough to make the lesson time fun, yet serious enough to make the lesson time impacting.
Kellie grew up in Maine and moved to New Jersey after marrying her husband, Paul, in 1997. Through the challenging years of growing their family, God carried them through some very painful times. Their second child, a daughter, was born with congenital heart defects and was called home to glory by God at just twelve days old. The lessons Kellie and Paul learned and the personal changes this kind of grief brought on their family are part of their story and of who they are today.
Their oldest son, Douglas, can be found working downstairs with the kids most Sunday mornings while their daughter, Rachel, looks forward to helping as soon as she can. Their youngest, Timmy, is a little spitfire and an active member of BP Students!
Kellie is humbled by the opportunity to lead the preschool program and work with the fabulous teachers and helpers at Breakpoint Community Church as they team up to teach these precious young children about the most important gift of all: Jesus.

Scott started participating in the worship band after attending Breakpoint for a few months. It was at this point that Scott knew he wanted to lead people in worship for years to come.
“Breakpoint is not just a church to me. The people that attend Breakpoint are my family and I have such a deep love and respect for all of them. Leading worship is such and honor and a privilege to me. The songs and the lyrics keep me very close to Lord on a daily basis. I take the position very seriously and hope that everyone is enjoying the praise we bring on Sundays as much as I do. The worship band at Breakpoint is a team effort, and I am so blessed to have such a great group of people to rely upon.”
