Del Rio/Mexico Mission Trips 2023 & 2024

In April 2023, Breakpoint Church partnered with Young Living Stones Ministries to serve in their Del Rio, TX, immigration processing center, and to show the love of Jesus to all those impacted by the humanitarian immigrant crisis. We ministered to the border patrol agents by throwing them a barbecue to lift their spirits, and also served at a Christian School on the Mexican side of the border, teaching the local residents about the love of Jesus.
In April 2024, we made a trip to Acuna, Mexico, to serve in the Albergue Centauro Sifuentes homeless shelter. We cleaned and painted, planted a garden, made some building and roof repairs, ministered to residents through meals and basic healthcare, and showed them the love of Jesus in tangible ways. This was a huge undertaking that would not have been possible without the Lord's help and blessing on our efforts. |
LA Mission Trip 2022

During our mission trip to Vinton, Louisiana last year, Breakpoint Church formed a strong fellowship with the members of Morning Star Baptist Church and their community, and we were so excited about the next collaboration. From July 23-30, 2022, Breakpoint partnered with Morning Star for one week to produce a Vacation Bible School for their youth. In Vinton, we developed close relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ as well as provided a Breakpoint-Style VBS Experience for the youth. We packed 120 backpacks full of school supplies, hygiene kits, and food. On the last day, we celebrated the end of VBS with food and games. We loved our time with the Vinton Community and are grateful that we could play a part in bringing the youth closer to Christ.

The Shepherd's Ministry

Each year we collect various amounts of food items to give to our local food pantry! This pantry provides food to approximately 700 people every month. This provides basic needs to those that are within our community.
We also have an ongoing mission to deliver food and household items to shut-ins within our community. God is working powerfully through this ministry to spread the gospel and it is a great daily devotion for our attenders. Thanksgiving Blessing Baskets
|
Every year the Sunday before Thanksgiving, Breakpoint delivers around 200 food baskets with complete dinners inside. We deliver them to the local community and to an apartment complex in Newark.

Operation Christmas Child
|
Every December we fill Christmas Boxes with toys, personal care items, clothing/accessories, and crafts for kids around the world.

Haiti
|
Breakpoint has been supporting schools and helping educate children in Hinche, Haiti since 2010. Our mission trips are on pause until civil unrest stops, and we feel it is safe to travel to Haiti.
